A 21-year-old sales representative was shot and killed in Waterford, Portmore, St Catherine, on Sunday evening.
He has been identified as Kevan Peters, otherwise called “Echo”, a resident of the community.
Police reports indicate that about 8:10 p.m., Peters was sitting on a pathway where he lived when a gunman approached and opened fire, hitting him in the upper body.
Officers who responded found Peters suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was taken to Spanish Town Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Waterford Criminal Investigation Branch is investigating the killing.
