Halle Berry was spotted shopping with her 12-year-old son, Maceo, in Los Angeles on Sunday amid a custody dispute with her former husband, Olivier Martinez.
The actress was accompanied by her longtime partner, musician Van Hunt, during the visit to Best Buy. The three were photographed walking together through the parking lot.
The outing followed allegations by Martinez that Berry grabbed Maceo by the neck and choked him during an argument at her home. According to TMZ, Martinez obtained a temporary restraining order against Berry and is seeking sole custody of their son.
Berry’s attorney rejected the allegations, describing them as “entirely meritless and deliberately misleading.” Her lawyer also accused Martinez of violating court orders and alleged that he has a history of erratic and violent behaviour.
The competing allegations have not been established as fact. TMZ reports that Berry remains permitted to spend time with Maceo during her court-ordered parenting time.
