Entertainer and popular social media personality Pops YG has been released on $300,000 pre-charge bail as investigators continue a probe into alleged lottery scamming activities.
Pops YG, whose given name is Ansel Fairclough, was arrested earlier this week during an operation carried out by members of the Anti-Lottery Scamming Unit in Trelawny.
His attorney, Donnovan Collins, confirmed that the entertainer was subsequently granted pre-charge bail in the sum of $300,000.
Pre-charge bail allows an individual who has been arrested to be released from police custody while an investigation continues, before a decision is made on whether formal charges will be laid.
Police have not announced any charges against Fairclough in connection with the investigation.
The probe remains ongoing.
