LOS ANGELES, California — Jamaican reggae sensation Lila Iké has been confirmed to perform in the opening number of the 2026 GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony, set for Sunday, February 1, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
The announcement places Iké among an elite group of artists selected to kick off the televised event, which showcases many of this year’s nominees before the main GRAMMY broadcast. The performance lineup includes fellow nominees such as Grace Potter, Israel Houghton, Maggie Rose and Trombone Shorty.
Iké’s inclusion in the ceremony holds special significance, as she is a first-time GRAMMY nominee in the Best Reggae Album category for her acclaimed debut, Treasure Self Love. Fans and industry observers view her selection for the opening segment as a major milestone in her international career.
