KINGSTON, Jamaica — Twenty-five-year-old businesswoman, artist and philanthropist Sherece Hall has been crowned Miss Universe Jamaica 2026.
Hall was crowned on Sunday night at the AC Hotel Kingston by Miss Universe Jamaica 2025 Dr Gabrielle Henry, who made her first public appearance at the pageant since an accident in Thailand last year while representing Jamaica at the global Miss Universe competition.
Dr Tianna McDaniel, 26, was named first runner-up, while 30-year-old creative, marketing professional, model and singer Kadejah Anderson placed second runner-up.
Hall has spent the past five years building a career in shipping and logistics, developing her leadership and service skills. She is also committed to community work through The Hummingbird Foundation, her non-profit organisation, which leads outreach and support initiatives.
At the pageant, Hall captured five sectional awards: Most Aware, the Altruism Award, Best in Evening Gown, Best in Swimwear and the Essence of Style Award.
McDaniel won the Most Photogenic Award.
Other sectional award winners were Andrea Hill, who received the Congeniality Award; Miss Universe Jamaica St Catherine Marci-Lee Smith, who won the Personality Award; Marsha Roberts, who took the Spirit of the Pageant Award; and Alanda Newman, who was named Runway Star.
Hall is the second Portland queen to capture a major national title this year.
In August, Miss Portland Christina Williams, an attorney-at-law, was crowned Miss Jamaica Festival Queen, ending a 27-year wait for the parish to claim the title.
