Zandre Roye and Jodi Munn-Barrow emerged as the top performers at the Easter Jamboree golf tournament held at the Upton Golf Club over the weekend.
The tournament, staged on the challenging par-71 course, attracted a strong field of golfers from across the island. The venue, known for its excellent preparation and popularity among visitors, has hosted the Jamboree for several years.
Roye secured victory in a tightly contested battle with fellow former national champion Oshae Haye. Both golfers were tied at two-over-par 73 after the opening round, but Roye edged ahead in the second round, finishing on five-over-par 147 to claim the title. Haye placed second on 148, while Delroy Johnson took third with a total of 150.

Roye credited his familiarity with the course for his success, noting that his knowledge of Upton helped him stay composed and execute when it mattered most.
In the women’s division, Munn-Barrow delivered a consistent performance, carding rounds of 74 and 74 for a total of four-over-par 148. Despite an early setback in the first round, she rebounded with steady play to secure the top spot.

She expressed satisfaction with her performance and praised the level of competition, particularly in the Men’s 0–6 category. Munn-Barrow also highlighted the strong turnout and is now looking ahead to the National Amateur Championships in May.
In other results, Dr Carl Bruce won the Men & Men Senior 7–12 category with 161, followed by Elvis Dinham (170) and Philip Gooden (174).
Former JGA president Wayne Chai Chong took top honours in the Men Super Senior 0–12 category with 160, while Dorrel Allen and Mike Gleichman tied for second on 162.
The Masters category was won by Richard Grant with 160, ahead of Dale Wanliss (166) and Philip Wilson (175).
