Entertainer and social media personality Pops YG has been taken into police custody following his arrest in Trelawny on Monday.
His attorney, Donnovan Collins, confirmed the arrest and said the entertainer, whose real name is Ansel Fairclough, is expected to take part in an identification parade.
According to law enforcement sources, detectives from the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA) arrested Fairclough. The agency is reportedly investigating allegations of sexual activity involving a minor.
The latest arrest follows Fairclough’s detention several weeks ago on suspicion of breaches of Jamaica’s lottery scam law. He was later released on pre-charge bail
