KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Reconstruction and Resilience Authority (NaRRA) will spend approximately J$120 million annually to rent its new headquarters at the Digicel Building in downtown Kingston.
The five-year lease carries an annual cost of US$725,972, bringing the authority’s total rental commitment to more than US$3.6 million. Operations at the Ocean Boulevard premises are scheduled to begin by November 1, 2026.
NaRRA says a valuation by the National Land Agency found the rental charge consistent with market rates and government office-space standards.
The authority said the building’s structural resilience and backup systems also influenced its selection.
Chief Executive Officer Ambassador Antony Anderson said the headquarters must provide safe working conditions, dependable communication and the ability to maintain critical operations during disasters.
The relocation comes as NaRRA recruits staff and develops the systems required to fulfil its reconstruction and resilience mandate.
