BOG WALK, St Catherine — A 35-year-old man was fatally shot by police during an alleged confrontation in High Mountain, Bog Walk, on Wednesday.
He has been identified as Dywane Edwards, also known as “Night Time,” a resident of the area.
Police say an Uzi submachine gun was seized from Edwards following the incident.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are now being investigated by the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM).
