Dancehall artiste and TikToker Pops YG is reportedly in police custody as authorities investigate allegations of lottery scamming.
The entertainer, whose given name is Hancel Faircloth, was reportedly taken into custody after police allegedly found him with items suspected to be linked to lottery scamming, including lead sheets.
A high-end motor vehicle that was reportedly in Faircloth’s possession was also seized by investigators.
Police have indicated that the entertainer is expected to be formally charged on Monday.
Further details surrounding the circumstances of his detention and the anticipated charges have not yet been disclosed.
