31 Haitians Taken Into Custody During Security Operation in Kitson Town

Security forces have detained thirty-one Haitian nationals following a targeted operation conducted in the Byles District of Kitson Town, St. Catherine, on Tuesday.

The exercise was carried out around 10:30 a.m. in the Guanabovale area, where the group was discovered occupying a house. According to police, those taken into custody included twenty-three men and eight women.

Following the operation, immigration authorities were notified, and the matter has since been handed over for processing in keeping with established immigration procedures.
