Police in Clarendon are investigating the killing of a 46-year-old caregiver following a violent incident at her May Pen home shortly after midnight on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Jennifer Williamson of Glenmuir Drive. Law enforcement sources report that the fatal attack occurred around 12:03 a.m. inside the residence.
According to investigators, Williamson sustained multiple chop wounds during what is being treated as a domestic dispute. She was discovered injured at the location and later pronounced dead.
Authorities have named her spouse as the primary suspect in the case. Efforts are ongoing to advance the investigation and determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
The May Pen Criminal Investigation Branch is leading the probe.
