Bar Brawl Between Haitian Men in Eastern Portland Leaves One Dead

Portland, Jamaica – A tragic altercation between two Haitian men outside a bar in Windsor Forest, eastern Portland, has left one dead and another severely beaten, raising concerns over community tensions and law enforcement responses.

According to police reports, the incident took place shortly before midnight when an argument between the two men escalated into a physical confrontation. One man reportedly struck the other in the face, causing him to fall and hit his head on the asphalt. Despite attempts to revive him, including dousing him with water, he remained unresponsive.

The injured man was rushed to the Port Antonio Hospital, approximately 10 miles away, but succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment.

Eyewitnesses reported that following the incident, at least three other men attacked the Haitian aggressor, subjecting him to a brutal beating as he pleaded for mercy. His current condition remains unknown.

Local authorities suspect that the individuals involved are part of a group of Haitians who allegedly entered the island illegally last year and have since been residing in the area. Police have yet to announce any arrests or developments in the case.
