Westmoreland, Jamaica: Westmoreland Man Beheaded – Police are investigating the brutal killing of a man during an early morning attack at his home in Retreat, Westmoreland, on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified by residents as Vinroy Holmes, a labourer believed to be in his 40s.
Reports indicate that Holmes was asleep inside his house when unknown assailants attacked him sometime in the early hours of the morning. He was reportedly beheaded during the incident.
Crime scene investigators remain at the location as detectives continue processing evidence linked to the Westmoreland man beheaded case. Investigators have not yet released details regarding a motive or possible suspects.
