Westmoreland Businessman Killed: A Westmoreland businessman lost his life in a collision involving his motorcycle and a cow along the Waterworks main road in Westmoreland on Friday night.
The deceased has been identified as 46-year-old Donathan Dillon, a resident of Shrewsbury District in the parish.
According to reports from the Whithorn police, Dillon was riding his blue Yamaha motorcycle along the roadway when he encountered a cow suddenly crossing his path. The collision with the large animal caused Dillon to be thrown from his bike.
