The Coral Gardens police station in Montego Bay, St. James, is working to identify a man who was shot and killed by armed assailants at a service station in Ironshore, Montego Bay, on Friday night.
According to reports, shortly after 8:00 pm, the victim, who remains unidentified, was seated on a motorcycle outside the service station when he was ambushed by two armed men traveling in a car.
The assailants wielded handguns and fired multiple shots at the victim before fleeing the scene in their vehicle.
Upon police arrival, the victim was found lying in a pool of blood beside the motorcycle, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
