Bowden Hill Shooting: A man who was wanted by the police in connection with a deadly shooting in Bowden Hill, Stony Hill, St Andrew, has been arrested and charged.
The accused, 39-year-old Fabian Dadzie, otherwise called “Twitty Bird” and “Blacks”, surrendered to investigators at the Constant Spring Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) on Tuesday.
Dadzie, a steelworker of Airy Castle Road in Stony Hill, has been charged with murder, wounding with intent, robbery with aggravation, possession of a prohibited weapon, and using a firearm to commit an offence.
The charges stem from a gun attack that occurred on February 23, 2025, at the home of a father and son in Bowden Hill.
According to police reports, 19-year-old Javed Liscombe of Bowden Hill Road was shot and killed during the incident. His father, 56-year-old tradesman Jerome Liscombe, was also shot and injured.
Following investigations, Dadzie was listed as wanted by the police. After surrendering on Tuesday, he participated in a question-and-answer session and was subsequently charged.
A court date is currently being finalised.
Meanwhile, the St Andrew North police say efforts are continuing to locate several other men wanted in connection with murder and other serious offences.
Among those being sought are Shevon Matthews, otherwise called “Max”; Kenroy Willis, otherwise called “Papa”; Tevin Harris, otherwise called “Ratty”; Adrian Johnson, otherwise called “Brammy”; and Oshane Blackwood, otherwise called “Ushane” and “Phillip”.
The police are urging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of these individuals to contact the Constant Spring CIB, Crime Stop at 311, or the nearest police station.
