Jamaica Crime News, St James: Police Launch Manhunt  – The St James Police have now launched a manhunt for two men, who they say are behind the recent murder of two men in the Salt Spring community.

The police say they cannot release the names of the two men who are being sought at this time, but the police are pulling all stops to apprehend them.

The men are said to be behind the most recent murder of  46-year-old Person Sawyers, a shopkeeper who was shot and killed by the men while at his place of business on Tuesday night, March 19.

Reports by the Montego Hills police are that about 3:45 p.m., Sawyers was at his shop when armed men traveling in a motor vehicle, opened fire killing him on the spot.

The police were summoned and upon their arrival, the scene was processed, and Sawyers was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
