A major police operation carried out at a section of Buck Toe Lane in Salt Spring, St. James on Tuesday, February 19, resulted in the seizure of nineteen (19) live 9-mm rounds of ammunition.
No one has so far been arrested in connection with the seizure.
Reports by the Montego Hills police are that about 3:00 p.m., a team of officers carried out an operation in Buck Toe Lane in Salt Spring.
During the operation, several houses and premises were searched.
During the search of one premises, the lawmen stumbled upon a bag which contained a magazine fitted with fifteen 9-mm rounds.
