Jamaica Crime News, Portland: The Port Antonio police say they have now taken one man into custody in connection with the stabbing death of a female in Port Antonio, Portland on Monday afternoon, March 19.
The name of the accused is being withheld as he may be placed before an identification parade.
The deceased has been identified as Ebony Harris, also of a Port Antonio address.
Ramon Stabbed to Death in Portland
Reports by the police are that on Monday afternoon, Ms. Harris and another male was at a bar when the accused arrived on the scene and called her on the outside.
Harris then got involved in a dispute with the accused, and he reportedly used a knife to stab her multiple times before fleeing the scene.
The police were summoned and upon their arrival, the wounded woman was transported to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
