Jamaica Crime News, Hanover: The Sandy Bay police in Hanover are now carrying out investigations surrounding a robbery and alleged rape incident, which occurred along a section of the Old Steamer Beach in Hopewell, Hanover on Tuesday night, March 19.
Reports are that shortly after 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, the taxi operator and a female companion drove to a section of the Old Steamer Beach.

While at the location they were ambushed by armed men, who proceeded to rob the male and allegedly sexually abused the female.
The matter was later reported to the Sandy Bay police who are presently carrying out an investigation into the incident.
