St. Ann Police Seeking Assistance from Members of the Public to Identify Murdered Victim

Jamaica Crime News, St Ann: The St Ann police say they are now seeking the assistance of members of the public, to identify a man whose body was discovered along a section of the roadway in James Avenue in the parish on Monday morning, June 11, 2018.

The Ocho Rios police have reported that about 2:20 a.m. on Monday, residents stumbled upon the body of the unidentified male along the roadway and alerted the police.

The police further stated that upon arrival, the lifeless body of the male was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. They are presently awaiting a post-mortem examination to determine the true cause of death.

The victim is believed to be in his late fifties and was clad in a blue shirt, black pants, black shoes and black cap.

Anyone knowing the identity of the victim is being asked to contact the Ocho Rios Police, Police Control at 119 or the nearest police station.
