ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — Constable Devoney Rose has died in hospital after being critically injured during a police operation in Sligoville, St Catherine, on Friday, October 16.
His death brings to two the number of police officers killed following the operation. Corporal Trevoy Shaw also lost his life.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force High Command has expressed condolences to Rose’s family, friends and colleagues.
The JCF’s Chaplaincy Services, Medical Services and Welfare branches are providing support to his relatives and fellow officers.
