A man was arrested following the seizure of a firearm during an operation carried out by police officers attached to the Kingsvale Police Station on Wednesday, March 11.
Reports indicate that lawmen conducted an operation at a house where a Glock 26 pistol with a magazine was discovered and seized.
The man who was occupying the premises at the time of the operation was subsequently taken into custody in connection with the find.
He remains in police custody as investigators continue their probe into the matter.
Investigations are ongoing.
