Westmoreland, Jamaica – Police in Westmoreland have detained a woman and two men after a firearm and several rounds of ammunition were uncovered during a targeted operation in Farm Pen district on Saturday, November 22.
According to reports from the Savanna-la-Mar Police, between 4:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., a team of officers conducted a sweep at a premises in the community. During the operation, a thorough search of the house allegedly led to the discovery of an HS 2000 9mm pistol, along with a magazine loaded with twelve 9mm rounds, found hidden beneath a pillow on a bed.
The firearm was seized, and all three occupants were subsequently taken into custody. Their identities are being withheld as investigators continue to probe the incident.
