Honduran National Arrested in Spanish Town for Illegal Entry

Spanish Town, St. Catherine — Authorities have charged a Honduran man with illegal entry after he was found walking in a central area of Spanish Town on Monday morning.

The individual has been identified as Rodolfo Enrique Delcid Olin, 45, from La Ceiba, Atlántida, Honduras. Police reported encountering Delcid Olin along Church Street around 11 a.m., prompting routine checks that confirmed he was a foreign national without proper documentation.

Delcid Olin reportedly told investigators that he had traveled to Jamaica with others for lobster fishing. He claimed that his colleagues had left him on Pedro Cay and did not return to pick him up.

Following the encounter, Delcid Olin was taken into custody and formally charged with illegal entry.
