The FBI is investigating allegations that a passenger engaged in lewd behaviour aboard an American Airlines flight from Baltimore to Miami on September 11.
According to a witness statement obtained by TMZ, Katy Inzer allegedly removed her jeans and underwear and performed a sexual act while seated behind a married couple.
The husband told police he heard loud sounds coming from the row behind him and turned around before alerting the cabin crew. Flight attendants reportedly instructed Inzer to stop and get dressed, and the witness said she complied.
A police report states that officers interviewed Inzer after the aircraft landed at Miami International Airport. They reported noticing a strong smell of alcohol and that her eyes were bloodshot.
Inzer reportedly told officers she had consumed several drinks during a two-hour delay in Baltimore. She said she had been asleep and could not recall what happened during the flight.
According to the report, the FBI has taken over the investigation. Inzer had not been arrested or charged at the time of reporting.
