Elderly Farmer Fatally Stabbed in Clarendon: Tragedy struck in Cockpit district, Clarendon on Wednesday night as a dispute between two elderly men escalated into a fatal altercation.

Reports indicate that 62-year-old Boneta Stewart, also known as ‘Mickie-Mouse’, a farmer from the area, lost his life during the confrontation.

According to police sources, the altercation between Stewart and 61-year-old fisherman Michael Foster, also known as ‘Racing’, turned violent, resulting in Stewart sustaining fatal stab wounds to his upper body. Despite efforts to save him, Stewart succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

In the aftermath of the incident, Foster, allegedly the assailant, surrendered himself to authorities. He is currently in police custody, facing a murder charge in connection with Stewart’s death.

Police at the scene recovered a knife believed to be the murder weapon, further corroborating witness accounts of the violent encounter.
