Sean “Diddy” Combs could leave federal prison earlier than previously expected after his projected release date was moved forward again.
The music mogul is now scheduled to be released from the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix in New Jersey on January 21, 2028, according to reports citing Federal Bureau of Prisons records.
The latest adjustment moves his projected release forward by about two weeks. Earlier this month, Combs was listed for release on February 5, 2028, after a previous date of February 20.
His projected release date has changed several times during his incarceration.
Combs is serving a 50-month federal prison sentence following his 2025 conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
The jury acquitted him of the more serious charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
Combs is serving his sentence at FCI Fort Dix, a low-security federal correctional institution in New Jersey.
The latest change means that, barring further adjustments, Combs could be released just three weeks into 2028.
