Dancehall legends Bounty Killer and Shaggy, through the Bounty Foundation, recently presented a cheque for US$10,000 to Sophia Laing, the wife of renowned Jamaican artist Lt. Stitchie. The donation was made in support of Stitchie’s ongoing recovery following a severe brain hemorrhage that left him unresponsive. This presentation took place at PAJ Imports Limited in Kingston, with the involvement of fellow singer Richie Stephens.
Lt. Stitchie, whose real name is Cleve Laing, has been battling significant health issues in recent years. In addition to the recent hemorrhage, he has endured several strokes, including one that occurred after a performance in 2023. His family has remained hopeful for his full recovery, as he continues to receive treatment in a medical facility.

Stitchie’s wife, Sophia, has also launched a GoFundMe campaign aimed at raising funds for his rehabilitation and long-term care. As of the latest updates, the campaign has garnered substantial support from fans and the music community, including this generous contribution from Shaggy and Bounty Killer. The funds will be used for medical care, living expenses, and his transfer to a long-term care facility.
