Woman Gunned Down along Mountain View Avenue

Latest Jamaica News, Kingston (McKoy’s News): There is now tension brewing in the Mountain View community in Kingston, following the shooting of a female in the community on Wednesday, December 11.

So far the police have not released the identity of the slain woman.

Reports are that shortly after 3:30 p.m., on Wednesday, the female was standing along a section of Mountain View avenue when she was approached by two men traveling on a motorcycle.

It is further reported that the pillion traveling on the motorcycle brandished a handgun and opened fire hitting the female multiple times, before they sped away.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the scene was processed and the female transported to hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Since the incident tension has grown in the area, and the police are asking motorists and pedestrians to avoid traveling that route.
