Security Guard Shot and Killed at Wholesale in Stony Hill

Latest Jamaica News, St Andrew (McKoy’s News): Security Guard Shot and Killed The St Andrew police seized a magazine and several rounds of ammunition following a murder incident, and a high-speed chase with gunmen in Stony Hill, St Andrew, last night, December 11.

So far the deceased had been identified as “Cho-Cho”, a security guard of a Golden Spring, also in St Andrew.

Reports by the police are that about 7:30 p.m., armed men traveling in a stolen motor car drove to a section of Stony Hill, where they shot and killed the security guard who was on duty at a wholesale located in the vicinity of the bus stop.

The police were informed of the incident and upon reaching the area, a motor car fitting the description of the getaway car was spotted along Oliver Road in the vicinity of the Market.

On seeing the police approaching, the men opened fire and the fire was returned, resulting in the gunmen abandoning the vehicle, and escaping in the area.

A search of the vehicle led to the seizure of the ammunition, and the wounded security guard was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
