Westmoreland, Jamaica (McN) – Westmoreland police seeking public help to identify man found burnt out in motor vehicle.
The Westmoreland police are now asking members of the public for their assistance in identifying a man who was shot by unknown assailants on Friday night in the Bluefields area and his body burnt in his motor car.
Reports are that. about 10:30 pm on Friday residents living in Blyton District in Bluefields, Westmoreland alerted the Bluefields police after a vehicle was sen on fire.
Upon arrival of the police. they came upon the burnt out body of a male in a station wagon Toyota Corolla motor car.
Further investigation revealed that the victim had also been shot several times.
Investigators pointed out that unconfirmed reports are that the victim may be from the Petersfield area of the parish.
