St James, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Violent Producer Shot: A man who was shot and injured by gunmen at a section of the Tucker community in St James on Wednesday afternoon is presently in critical condition at the Cornwall Regional Hospital.

The police say the name of the victim is being withheld but he is a known violent producer who resides in a section of Tucker community known as Red Square.

Reports by the Granville police are that shortly after 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday,  January 31, the victim was standing at a section of Red Square when he was ambushed by unknown assailants who shot him multiple times to his upper body.

The police were alerted and upon arrival, the victim was seen lying in a pool of blood suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was treated and admitted in critical condition.

Despite the parish of St James being placed under the State of Emergency,  the gunmen still continue to strike at various sections of the parish.
