Music Selector Killed: The Anchovy police in St James are investigating the shooting death of a popular music selector and the wounding of another man along the Long Hill main road on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as 37-year-old Danandrew Marshall, also known as “Crack,” a music selector from Eden district in Anchovy, St James.
Reports indicate that around 7:30 p.m., Marshall was driving a grey Honda Stepwagon with his 23-year-old friend in the front passenger seat. The two were traveling from Lethe district toward Reading when a vehicle pulled up beside them near the National Water Commission Pump Station on Long Hill main road. The occupants of the other vehicle brandished handguns and opened fire, hitting both men and causing their vehicle to overturn.
The police were summoned and, upon arrival, transported both injured men to Cornwall Regional Hospital, where Marshall was pronounced dead. The investigation is ongoing.
