Man Fatally Shot by Military: A man was fatally shot during a reported confrontation with military personnel in Denham Town, West Kingston, on Wednesday night.
An illegal firearm was reportedly seized at the scene.
The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Romaine King, a resident of Golden Heights.
Around 9:15 p.m., military personnel on patrol along Race Course Lane observed King and another man standing along a pathway, both wearing hoodies.
It is reported that King pointed a gun at the soldiers, prompting them to shoot him.
A nine-millimeter pistol was recovered from the scene.
The other man fled.
The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) is investigating the incident.
