St Catherine, Jamaica — Two men were killed in a fatal two-vehicle crash on Old Harbour Road in St Catherine late Wednesday night. The collision, which occurred at approximately 9:20 p.m., involved a grey 2007 Toyota Land Cruiser and a blue 1994 Nissan Sunny.
According to initial reports, both vehicles were travelling along the roadway when a white Honda motor car, travelling ahead of the Land Cruiser, suddenly swerved to the right. The vehicles collided head-on, with the impact causing the Land Cruiser to spin out of control and crash into the left embankment of the road.
Emergency services were called to the scene, and both drivers were rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
The St Catherine North Police Division has launched an investigation into the incident. The identities of the deceased have not yet been released.
