MANCHESTER, Jamaica — Two men were shot and killed by gunmen at a bar along Manchester Road in Mandeville on Monday night.
The identities of the deceased have not yet been released by the police.
Preliminary reports indicate that about 9:00 pm, residents in the area heard loud explosions and alerted the police. Upon their arrival, the two men were found suffering from gunshot wounds. They were transported to hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
This latest incident has pushed the number of murders in the parish to three within a 24-hour period. Earlier on Monday morning, the body of a man was discovered on a haul road in a nearby community.
The police have launched an investigation into the shootings and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward
