CLARENDON, Jamaica — A 26-year-old fisherman has been charged with three counts of murder in connection with last week’s triple-fatal machete attack in Frazersfield, Rocky Point, Clarendon.
The accused, Daniel Henry, is alleged to have carried out the deadly attack during a domestic dispute, using a machete to kill his mother, Annette Lindo, a domestic helper and vendor; his brother, 32-year-old fisherman Lynval Henry; and his cousin, Ingrid Keisha Lindo. The incident reportedly occurred at their home on Thursday, December 18.
The gruesome killings have sent shockwaves throughout the normally quiet fishing community.
Henry appeared in court on Monday and was further remanded. His next court date is to be announced.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing by the Clarendon police.
