The St. Mary police have reported that two of the four men who were shot and seriously injured at a bar in Dover district, St. Mary, have succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.
The deceased men have been identified as 34-year-old Leroy Morand of Dover district and 40-year-old Damion Melvin of Windsor Castle in Portland.
Reports indicate that around 7:10 p.m., Morand and Melvin were among other patrons at a bar when they were ambushed by two armed men.
The attackers opened fire, hitting Melvin, Morand, and two other men before escaping the area on foot.
The police were summoned, and upon arrival, they discovered all four men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victims were rushed to the hospital, where they were treated and admitted in serious condition.
Morand and Melvin succumbed to their gunshot injuries on Saturday afternoon.
