Two Jamaican Fugitives Arrested: – Two Jamaican fugitives wanted in connection with serious violent crimes have been arrested in St Kitts and Nevis during coordinated operations involving regional law enforcement agencies.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force reported that Kemar Matthews and Clevone Harris, both wanted by Jamaican authorities for murder and wounding with intent, were taken into custody in separate operations.
Following their arrests, the men were repatriated to Jamaica to face the charges against them.
Authorities in St Kitts and Nevis said the successful operations underscore the growing importance of regional intelligence-sharing and security cooperation in combating cross-border criminal activity throughout the Caribbean.
