CLARENDON, Jamaica — Two young labourers died Friday night after being injured in a three-vehicle collision on the Swansea to Four Paths main road in Clarendon.
The deceased have been identified as 23-year-old Jevoy Wheatle, also known as ‘Pepe’, of Gravel Hill in Milk River, and 24-year-old Ackeem Thomas of Race Course, Toll Gate.
Police reports indicate that about 8:45 p.m., Wheatle and Thomas were travelling on a motorcycle along the Osborne Store main road in Four Paths when the motorcycle was involved in a collision with a Nissan Tiida and another motorcycle.
Both men sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital.
They were pronounced dead on arrival.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are being investigated by the police.
