TWO (2) ST ELIZABETH MEN FREED OF RAPE CHARGES-Two St Elizabeth men who have been appearing in court on rape and abduction charges since the past three years was set free when they appeared before the St Elizabeth Circuit Court on Monday, June 4th.
The two accused Garfield Rowe and Miguel Myrie both from Birkshire District was set free after the complainant informed the judge that she was no longer interested in pursuing the case much further.
Both accused were arrested and charged after they reportedly abducted and raped the complainant on July 1st, 2015.
Upon their appearance in Court on Monday the female informed Justice Glen Brown that she wishes to drop the case. Judge Brown ordered them to be set free but not before giving them a word of caution.
