Trelawny Man Killed on North Coast Highway in Late-Night Crash

Trelawny, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Tragedy struck Salt Marsh, Trelawny, on Monday night when 67-year-old wood carver Patrick Jackson was fatally struck while crossing the North Coast Highway.

Reports from Falmouth police indicate that around 10:50 p.m., Jackson was attempting to cross the roadway when he was hit by a Toyota Voxy heading towards Falmouth. He sustained multiple injuries from the impact.

Emergency services were called to the scene, and Jackson was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigation Underway

Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision, and details remain limited as officers work to determine how the accident occurred.
