Trelawny Man Arrested for Stealing $550,000 Pot of Gold Gaming Box

A Trelawny man who reportedly stole a Pot of Gold Gaming Box valued at $550,000 from an establishment in Clarks Town, on Saturday June 3, has been arrested and charged.

He has been identified as 42-year-old Omar Jarrett, otherwise called ‘ Shooty Shooty’ a farmer of Spicy Hill, also in Trelawny.

Reports are that about 1:30pm, Jarrett accompanied one of his friends to a bar, where his friend and the bar owner got involved in a dispute, allegedly over lottery scamming money.

In defense of his friend, Jarrett reportedly removed the Gaming Box and placed it in a motor, and also allegedly threatened an employee at the establishment with an illegal firearm.

He and his friend later drove away with the box, and a report was made to the police.

An investigation was carried out leading to the arrested and charge of the accused.
