A quiet community in Airy Castle, St Thomas, has been left in shock and mourning following the suspected suicide of a 16-year-old boy, whose body was discovered at his home on Thursday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Kenroy Campbell, a student and resident of the area.
According to reports, Campbell’s body was found around 6 a.m., hanging from the roof of his home with a piece of cord. Family members and neighbours were left devastated by the tragic discovery.
The scene was processed by investigators, and the body was later removed for a postmortem examination to confirm the cause of death.
The Bath Police have launched an investigation into the incident. While early indications suggest suicide, authorities have not ruled out other possibilities as they await the results of the autopsy.
This incident has once again brought attention to the silent struggles faced by many young people and has prompted calls for greater mental health support in schools and communities
