Montego Bay, St James (Mckoy’s News) – Tractor Driver Murdered: Mount Salem police in Montego Bay, St James are now carrying out investigations into the murder of a 40 years old tractor operator who was shot and killed by gunmen posing as police officers at his home on Friday morning.

The victim has been identified as Baldwin Haughton of 7th Street in Farm Heights Montego Bay.

Reports by the police are that about 4:00 am on Friday Haughton was at home with his wife and daughter when they were awoken from their sleep by loud banging on the front door and shouts of “police open up!”

Before the family could react a group of men on the outside smash  a window to the house and sprayed the dwelling with bullets.

Haughton was shot several times to the upper regions of his body and his family alerted the police and upon arrival he was rushed to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No motive has yet been established for this latest killing.
