London, UK – British actor Michael Ward, known for his roles in Top Boy and Blue Story, has been formally charged with two counts of rape, two counts of assault by penetration, and one count of sexual assault following an alleged incident in East London in January 2023.
Ward, 27, appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court where he confirmed his personal details but did not enter a plea. He was granted conditional bail with a strict requirement not to contact the complainant. Ward is scheduled to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 25, 2025.
The Crown Prosecution Service authorized the charges after reviewing evidence from the Metropolitan Police. Ward has publicly denied all allegations, asserting his innocence. Specialist officers are providing support to the complainant, and authorities have urged the public to avoid prejudicial commentary as proceedings continue.
