Teenager Feared Drowned at Reggae Falls in St Thomas

A tragic incident unfolded on Sunday afternoon at Reggae Falls, where a 14-year-old boy is believed to have drowned.

The deceased has been identified as Romario Hyman, a student who resided along Wyatt Road in the Seaforth Housing Scheme.

Preliminary reports indicate that around 4 p.m., the teenager was at the popular attraction when he was discovered submerged in a deep section beneath the waterfall.

Law enforcement officers were summoned to the scene shortly after the discovery. An investigation has since been launched to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The probe is currently being carried out by the Seaforth Police. Authorities have not released additional information as inquiries remain ongoing.
