St. James, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- TEENAGE BOY MURDERED IN ROSE HEIGHTS: The Mount Salem police are now carrying out investigations surrounding the death of a teenager boy who was shot and killed by gunmen in the community of Rose Heights in St. James on Saturday night.
The victim has been identified as 18-year-old Trist Gilpin of Matches Lane in Rose Heights and Sunderland District also in St. James.
Reports by the Mount Salem police are that about 7:30 pm on Saturday Gilpin was seen pushing a Trolley along Matches Lane.
Minutes later loud explosions were heard and residents stumbled upon Gilpin who was lying along the Matches Lane road with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
The police were summoned and upon arrival the wounded teenager was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
